IE Hub has partnered with National Debtline to make it easier for customers to access trusted debt advice and share affordability data directly with creditors.
IE Hub has announced a new partnership with National Debtline, a trusted provider of free, independent and expert debt advice.
This collaboration is designed to make it easier for customers to access professional support and share their affordability information with creditors. Not only that, but we're providing organisations with confidence that the data they receive is consistent, accurate, and aligned with industry standards such as the Standard Financial Statement (SFS).
Meeting the challenges of Consumer Duty
Under the FCA’s Consumer Duty, creditors are expected to support customers in vulnerable circumstances and ensure good outcomes. Yet the current process often makes that difficult. Customers referred for debt advice frequently have to repeat their affordability information multiple times, once with creditors, again with advice providers, and then back with creditors.
This duplication creates unnecessary friction, increases the risk of errors, and can undermine customer engagement.
By integrating IE Hub directly with National Debtline, customers can access tailored debt advice without leaving the platform. Their existing IE Hub budget flows securely into the charity’s systems, reducing duplication, improving accuracy, and helping creditors meet both regulatory requirements and customer outcome obligations.
